Stick Power has been growing the sport of field hockey in the 757 since 2008.
Advanced Training is our programming that is centralized on the Peninsula at CNU and in Yorktown to provide skill sessions for players of any club affiliation.
Programs will offer various opportunities based on skill level and age.
Spring Field Hockey
Spring is HERE!
This 5 week series will be focused on small skills and game play EACH WEEK.
Learn by playing!!!
Beginners welcomed!!!

Located at Christopher Newport University- Jennings Family Stadium
Dates: April 19, 26 May 3, 10, 17
(May 24 as the inclement weather date)
Pee Wees (Ages 4-5 as of Jan 1, 2026)
45 minutes of instructional field hockey training. Designed to be fun, interactive, and engaging!
Time: 3:00-3:45pm
U10 (Ages 6-9 as of Jan 1, 2026)
U12 (Ages 10-11 as of Jan 1, 2026)
U14 (Ages 12-14 as of Jan 1, 2026)
Time: 3:00-4:15pm
75 minutes of instructional field hockey training. Learn by playing! 30 minutes of skill and the rest is game play experience.
