Play More Hockey …Join Club Today!
Club is for local field hockey players that are looking for an opportunity to play in more field hockey events and competitions in the state of Virginia. Stick Power intends to grow the “Club” beyond the state of Virginia…we plan to bring the “Club” eventually to national and eventually international level.
How To Become a Club Member?
All players within a 50 mile radius of CNU that participate in either camp, youth camp, and/or skills academy are eligible for club. Events will be posted on the “Update” section on the homepage. You get to choose which event you would like to participate in…simply send us an email.
This is on a first come first serve basis so make sure to sign up as soon as you can.
Skill Level
All skill levels qualify for club. From novice to the elite player. We believe in developing players with game experience and coaching.
Cost
There is no cost for being a member! The only costs are per event which varies based on entry fees, officiating, equipment use, staff coverage, field use, insurance, equipment, player gear/uniform, etc.

What gear do you need for club?
Stick, Shinguards, Molded Mouthpiece, Stick Power Uniform, Waterbottle, Cleats, Turfs or Sneakers if matches are on Astroturf.
Goal Keepers must supply their own equipment.
Practice Dates
All practices are held at CNU’s Turf Field or in the Freeman Center during inclement weather. Upcoming dates and times for practice are posted on the main page under “updates” as well as what do bring.

Parental Conduct
We request that parents ALWAYS display positive sporting behavior and treat players, coaches, and officials with respect. Having confrontational and overzealous parents can destroy the positive environment we hope to establish and the vision of the club. We are a new club, learning as we go, trying innovative concepts. While your concerns are important, please use your discretion on delivery.
Insurance and Forms
Insurance is covered in the cost. We will use the on-line medical forms from registration.
