Stick Power Youth Day Camp
DATES: July 28-31, 2008 (Mon.-Thur.)
TIME: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
AGES: Boys and Girls Age 7-13
COST: $139
Purpose of Camp
Stick Power Field Hockey Day Camp was created to provide more playing and learning opportunities for youth in the Hampton Roads area. Our goal is to teach fundamental field hockey skills in a positive learning environment. This camp strives to give each camper the confidence and inspiration to continue participating. We hope to spread our love for the sport to the next generation of field hockey players.
Location
Christopher Newport University. Field hockey field are located behind Pomoco Stadium. The Freeman Center will be used during inclement weather.
Check-In/Drop-Off/Pick-Up
Times:
Check-in/Drop-off at 9:00am everday.
Pick-up at 2:00pm everyday.
Location: CNU practice fields or the Freeman Center if inclement weather.
Equipment Needed
- Field hockey stick
- Mouth guard
- Shinguards
- Goalkeepers bring your own equipment
- Cleats
- Running shoes (for indoor play)

Lunch
Please pack a lunch for your child. They will have a shaded area to eat and enjoy their lunch.
Theme Days
- Tuesday – “Spirit Day” – Wear your team color, cheer loud, and
the best team gets a prize
- Wednesday – “Mix & Match” – The wildest outfit wins!
- Thursday – “Stick Power Day” – Wear Stick Power colors and gear!
